    Who Do I Help?

I work with a wide variety of children online, helping them to:

    • Use words and put them into sentences

    • Understand spoken language and/or

    • Develop their speech sounds

I also support parents whose children may not be ready for teletherapy, demonstrating early language strategies and activity ideas they can try with their child.

I very much believe that you are integral to the therapy process - my role is to provide you with guidance on how you can best support your child's communication skills and feel confident you know how to help develop their speech and language.

Assessment of your child's strengths and needs will allow me to make recommendations to support their communication development. I will provide information and advice, with your permission, to any professional involved in your child's care.  Any therapy offered will be planned in consultation with you to ensure that you feel part of the process every step of the way.

Myself and my husband contacted Jenny a few days ago after some concerns over Charlie (our 7-year-old son). Due to the current climate and uncertainty of Covid-19 we met over Zoom.us after some initial emails outlining our concerns. Jenny spoke with us first and then interacted with Charlie. She put us all at ease with her calming voice and fantastic knowledge, letting us know her thoughts along the way and always keeping us informed of what she was doing and why. I can’t recommend her enough. She went above and beyond our expectations and I’m incredibly happy with her service. If you’re having any concerns please do give Jenny a message. She really has helped us!

The words from Piper that stick with me that sums up the sessions we had with Jenny are ‘I want to go to Jenny’s House to play!’. Piper did not see the sessions as a chore, Jenny worked really hard to get a rapport with Piper making sessions individual to the child and what will get them motivated and engaged and helped Piper overcome her lack of confidence and shyness with her speech. Now Piper is doing brilliantly and it has enabled her to be happy and confident in doing her favourite thing which is learning to read. We cannot thank Jenny enough.

Thank you so much for yesterday.  It was so lovely to see you working and B absolutely loved it.  I already feel like I have changed the way I am speaking with her.

Finn and I loved our sessions with Jenny. Finn never felt as though he was doing ‘work’ and loved going to ‘play’ with Jenny. Any questions I had were answered very knowledgeably and support given during and after via email. Finn only had a minor issue but due to the sessions, it was ‘fixed’ and has meant that Finn has been able to start school with no speech issues ready to start learning which was my biggest worry.
